Turkmenistan and Turkey expand training of specialists for the aviation sector

A meeting was held in Ashgabat with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and Rahmi Er, Rector of the University of the Turkish Aeronautical Association. The main topic of negotiations between the parties was dedicated to the training of highly qualified specialists for civil aviation and high-tech fields.

During the meeting, the Turkish side provided detailed information about the university's capabilities and the accumulated experience in training Turkmen flight crews. In particular, special attention was paid not only to teaching the traditional profession of a pilot, but also to introducing advanced solutions into the logistics system, ensuring flight safety, and widely integrating artificial intelligence and cybersecurity technologies into the aviation industry.

Furthermore, bilateral cooperation includes establishing direct academic exchange programs between students and faculty, developing joint training courses, and further strengthening relations between higher education institutions of Turkmenistan and Turkey. This opens a new stage in training young, highly qualified personnel for the transport and logistics sector.
