Turkmenistan has officially concluded the document submission phase for applicants entering higher and secondary vocational educational institutions for the 2026–2027 academic year. Organized from July 13 to July 26 pursuant to the Presidential Order issued during the Cabinet of Ministers meeting on July 10, the campaign reflects a structured approach to national human capital development.
For the upcoming academic year, national universities are expanding their educational capacity by introducing 20 new specialized fields of study, with total university admissions projected to exceed 18,000 students. Furthermore, entrance examinations at key institutions—including the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University and the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs—will utilize modern testing formats. Entrance examinations across the country's higher and secondary vocational institutions will continue through August 24.
