
Based on the results of January-February 2026, Turkmenistan has entered the list of the top ten major partners supplying goods to Uzbekistan. During the reporting period, the total volume of Turkmenistan's exports to the neighboring country amounted to 121.5 million USD.
According to data released by the National Statistical Committee of Uzbekistan on Monday, the country's total imports in the first two months of the year reached 8.1 billion dollars, showing an increase of 29.8 percent compared to the same period last year. During this time, Uzbekistan purchased goods and services from more than 135 countries worldwide.
China, Russia, and Kazakhstan continue to hold the leading positions in Uzbekistan's import market. Turkmenistan's inclusion in the top ten once again proves the strategic nature of the economic relations between the two countries.
