Vice President of Turkey Cevdet Yılmaz Visited the "Turkmentextile Expo-2026" International Exhibition

Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Cevdet Yılmaz, who arrived in Turkmenistan on an official visit to attend the 9th meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Turkish Commission on Economic Cooperation, visited the "Turkmentextile Expo – 2026" international textile exhibition and fair currently underway in our capital, Ashgabat.

Vice President of Turkey Cevdet Yılmaz and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyyev toured the dedicated exhibition stands of leading companies from the brotherly Republic of Turkey participating in the international exhibition. The distinguished guest also visited the stands of enterprises under the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, where he closely acquainted himself with the finest premium textile products manufactured there.

During the visit, Cevdet Yılmaz highly praised the finished goods produced in Turkmenistan from ecologically clean local raw cotton. Stopping at each exhibition stand, he inquired about the modern production features of our national brands and their position in foreign markets.

Together with the members of the high-level delegation accompanying him, Cevdet Yılmaz particularly noted that he was amazed by the textile products, ready-made garments, and various fabrics woven from Turkmen cotton, high-quality Turkmen yarn, and delicate silk.

Furthermore, the distinguished Turkish guests viewed magnificent samples of world-famous Turkmen carpet products and expressed great interest in the modern goods produced by representatives of the private sector (entrepreneurs) of Turkmenistan, as well as their professional craftsmanship.
