Weekly GTSBT Trades: Transaction Value Exceeded 57 Million Dollars
Trades held last week at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (GTSBT) once again proved the activity of international business relations. A total of 32 transactions were registered over the week, with a total value exceeding 57 million 883 thousand US dollars.
The interest of foreign entrepreneurs in petrochemical and textile products manufactured in Turkmenistan remains at a high level.
- Petrochemical Products: Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan purchased base oil produced at the enterprises of the "Turkmennebit" State Concern. Additionally, representatives from Afghanistan concluded a deal to purchase ECO-93 gasoline produced by the "Turkmenhimiya" State Concern.
- Other Goods: Entrepreneurs from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and the UAE purchased wheat flour, cotton yarn, and technical fatty acids of cotton soapstock.
Domestic Market and Local Entrepreneurship Representatives of our country's private sector also actively participated in the exchange trades, purchasing raw materials necessary for domestic production. The total value of transactions for the domestic market amounted to 61 million 120 thousand manats. Local entrepreneurs mainly purchased polypropylene, packaging film, base oil, as well as cotton yarn and fabrics.
