The results of the IV "Youth Innovative Technologies" competition, organized by the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan in honor of Science Day and the 2026 motto "Youth with Arkadag and Advanced World Technologies," have been announced.
More than 600 talented young people under the age of 35 from across the country participated in the competition, with nearly 200 innovative projects selected for the final round. The final was held at the university in an exhibition-competition format, where participants demonstrated their scientific, engineering, and creative skills.
Grand Prix winner: The Grand Prix was awarded to Gulbahar Orazberdiyeva, a 12th-grade student at Specialized School for Gifted Children No. 24 in Mary, Mary region, for her project titled "Using a digital system to determine a child's health status."
First-place projects:
- Ayshat Ishangulyyeva (Mary region) – "Smart glasses for monitoring drowsiness in truck drivers";
- Alybaba Begov (S. Niyazov School for Gifted Children) – "DubAI (Video dubbing project)";
- Ayjemal Hydyrova (Scientific Research Institute of Natural Gas of the "Turkmengas" State Concern) – "Method of wet gas purification using ferromagnetic impact";
- Suray Memiyeva (Oguz Han ETU) – "Technology for producing glycerin from sesame waste";
- Merjen Haytgylyyeva (Turkmen Agricultural Institute) – "Apiplantin — eco-friendly candles";
- Aynur Atamyradova (Oguz Han ETU) – "Red Diamond — first online blood donation platform";
- Didar Dovrangeldiyev (State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan) – "ECO-robot";
- Annamammet Garajayev (Oguz Han ETU) – "Smart agricultural machinery."
In addition, 7 second-place and 19 third-place awards were given, totaling 26 winning projects. Winners and awardees received diplomas, medals, and valuable gifts. The university also provided participants with special letters of commendation for university admission and employment. This competition plays a key role in fostering interest among youth in scientific research, engineering work, and the digitalization of the national economy.
