As previously reported, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov paid a working visit to the Republic of Türkiye, where he attended the 13th Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). During the visit, the Head of State of Turkmenistan also held several high-level meetings.

According to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, having completed the programme of his working visit, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived at Etimesgut Airport in Ankara, from where he departed for his homeland.

Several hours later, the Head of State’s aircraft landed at Ashgabat International Airport. Official representatives warmly welcomed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and congratulated him on the successful conclusion of his working visit to the Republic of Türkiye and his participation in the 13th Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States.

The President was also congratulated on being awarded an honorary doctorate in International Relations by Hacettepe University and receiving the “Strategic Friendship” award from Türkiye’s Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK).

The President of Turkmenistan expressed his gratitude for the congratulations and wished everyone success.

The President of Turkmenistan’s participation in the 13th OTS Summit demonstrated the country’s commitment to strengthening multilateral cooperation across the Turkic world and developing its creative potential for the benefit and well-being of brotherly peoples.
