The Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University announces the start of its 2026/2027 admission campaign for programs in the oil and gas sector, engineering, IT, economics, and logistics.

Fields of Study (fee-paying basis):

  • Oil, Gas, and Engineering: Geology, drilling, field development, oil and gas pipelines, chemical technology, mechanical engineering, electric power, and automation.
  • IT and Economics: Information systems, information security, economics and management, human resources management.
  • English-taught programs: Oil and Gas Engineering, Geology, Software Engineering, Chemical Technology, and Logistics (a 1-year language preparatory course is provided for those who are not fluent in English).

Document Submission Applications are accepted from July 13 to July 26, 2026, in regional centers and Ashgabat.

Entrance Exam Schedule (held in Ashgabat):

  • Ashgabat and Arkadag cities: July 29 – August 1;
  • Ahal velayat: August 2–4;
  • Lebap and Dashoguz velayats: August 5–7;
  • Mary velayat: August 8–10;
  • Balkan velayat: August 11–13. Exams are oral and held in the state language on physics, mathematics, chemistry, or English (depending on the field of study) and the History of Turkmenistan.
