
Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, awaits a major event for technology and innovation enthusiasts. On Saturday, April 25, 2026, the "Young Engineer — 2026" robotics and programming competition will be held, bringing together the most talented youth of the country.
This prestigious event is jointly organized by the Ashgabat City Committee of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the Ashgabat City Main Education Directorate of the Ministry of Education, and the Ashgabat City Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization.
The competition will feature four exciting categories:
Participants and Conditions The competition is primarily open to secondary school students. However, there is no age limit for the "BattleBots" category — any citizen interested in technology can participate. Applicants must register by filling out a special online form by April 15, 2026.
Prizes for Winners The jury will evaluate the innovation and quality of the projects as well as the students' skills. Those who win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each category will receive Honor Certificates from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and valuable gifts from the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Youth Organization. Notably, the top 5 students in the "Robotics" category will earn the right to participate in the next stage of the "First Global Challenge – 2026" world championship.
Venue and Time The competition will be held at the "Ojar Aziýa" private enterprise building (38 G. Kuliyev St., Ashgabat).
