A talented team of school students from our country has been sent to Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. Our gifted students will participate as a team in the regional stage of the FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) championship, which will be held in this city from February 10 to 13.
The FIRST Tech Challenge is one of the world’s largest robotics competitions, organized by the US-based “First Global” organization. Every year, more than 70,000 students from over 100 countries take part. Participants perform complex tasks with their own autonomous robots.
At the championship in Kazakhstan’s capital, 60 of the strongest teams, selected from over 400 regional teams, will compete. The main goal of our young robotics students is to enter the top three and earn the right to participate in the world finals in Houston, USA.

Recall that last year our school students participated for the first time in this international championship in Astana and won the “International Achievement” award. This year, the participation of two teams from our country proves the growing interest of young people in technology.
