
Last week, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan became a hub of active international cooperation, registering a total of 53 contracts. Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan, Georgia, and Uzbekistan showed great interest in the products of our country's oil and gas sector.
Polypropylene, base oil, and gasoline produced at the technological facilities of the "Turkmennebit" State Concern were sold for foreign currency. Along with this, entrepreneurs from Singapore purchased a large batch of urea (carbamide) produced at the enterprise of the "Turkmenhimiya" State Concern.
The weekly export list was also enriched with products from the textile and agricultural industries. Foreign buyers from the UAE, Turkey, and Azerbaijan purchased wheat flour, jacquard fabrics, as well as various types of cotton products, medical cotton, cotton swabs, and cotton yarn.
The total value of contracts concluded in foreign currency amounted to 350 million 748 thousand US dollars. This once again confirmed the high competitiveness of Turkmen products in the global market.
High trading dynamics were also felt in the domestic market segment. Local entrepreneurs concluded several important agreements for the needs of the national industry. In trades conducted in national manat, polypropylene, base oil, heating fuel, and packaging film from the "Turkmennebit" State Concern, as well as batches of wheat flour, were purchased.
According to the results of the week, the total volume of domestic transactions amounted to 269 million 30 thousand manats. The results of the exchange week clearly demonstrate the steady growth of the country's export potential and the strengthening of the positions of national producers.
