Meeting of the Working Group on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the USA Held

On March 27, 2026, a meeting of the Working Group on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United States of America was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the talks, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. The interlocutors emphasized the importance of maintaining regular and meaningful dialogue at various levels and noted the high efficiency of the existing cooperation mechanisms. In particular, the effectiveness of the Turkmenistan-US Business Council's activities, including its annual meetings, was highlighted.

Special attention was paid to expanding investment cooperation and implementing joint projects involving American companies. It was noted that the results of the past year show positive outcomes, demonstrating the consistent development of bilateral cooperation and the expansion of practical engagement. The parties expressed that the bilateral economic agenda holds great potential and stressed the importance of utilizing these opportunities to bring cooperation to a qualitatively new level and diversify mutual trade turnover.
