2026–2027 Academic Year: Locations for Submitting Official Documents to Higher Education Institutions of Turkmenistan

In accordance with the procedure approved by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, between July 13 and July 26, 2026, official documents from candidates wishing to enter higher education institutions are being accepted in all velayats of the country. Admission procedures are organized in secondary schools, institutes, and other educational institutions designated by velayats.

Balkan Velayat Candidates of the Balkan velayat can submit documents at the following admission points:

• Secondary School No. 3 (Balkanabat) — Magtymguly Turkmen State University, International University for the Humanities and Development, State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, International University of Oil and Gas, Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications.
• Secondary School No. 21 — Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, Turkmen State Financial Institute, Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics, Turkmen Agricultural University, International Equine Academy, State Pedagogical University, State Energy Institute.
• Secondary School No. 22 — Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University, International University of Industry and Entrepreneurship.
• Balkan Velayat Specialized School of Arts — Turkmen State Institute of Culture.
• Applications for the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory are not accepted in the Balkan velayat.

Dashoguz Velayat In the Dashoguz velayat, documents are accepted at the following locations:

• Secondary School No. 25 — Turkmen State University, State Pedagogical Institute, State Institute of World Languages, Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics, State Energy Institute.
• Secondary School No. 28 — International University of Oil and Gas, State Institute of Architecture and Construction, State Pedagogical University, Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University, International University of Industry and Entrepreneurship.
• Secondary School No. 7 — International University for the Humanities and Development, State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• Turkmen Agricultural Institute — Turkmen Agricultural Institute and International Equine Academy.
• Financial and Economic Secondary Vocational School — Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management.
• Magtymguly Garlyev Specialized School of Arts — Turkmen State Institute of Culture and Turkmen National Conservatory.

Lebap Velayat Admission points in the Lebap velayat:

• Secondary School No. 32 — Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
• Secondary School No. 41 — International University for the Humanities and Development and State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.
• S. Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute — State Pedagogical Institute and Turkmen Agricultural Institute.
• Secondary School No. 2 — State Institute of World Languages and Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications.
• Secondary School No. 20 — State Institute of Architecture and Construction and State Pedagogical University.
• Secondary School No. 24 — Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management and State Financial Institute.
• Secondary School No. 26 — International University of Oil and Gas, Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University, and International University of Industry and Entrepreneurship.
• Secondary School No. 27 — Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• Secondary School No. 38 — Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics and State Energy Institute.
• Turkmenabat Agro-industrial Secondary Vocational School — Turkmen Agricultural University and International Equine Academy.
• Lebap Velayat Specialized School of Arts — Turkmen State Institute of Culture and Turkmen National Conservatory.

Mary Velayat In the Mary velayat, documents are accepted at the following points:

• Secondary School No. 16 — Magtymguly Turkmen State University, International University for the Humanities and Development, State Pedagogical University.
• Secondary School No. 6 — State Pedagogical Institute and State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.
• Secondary School No. 19 — State Institute of World Languages.
• Secondary School No. 1 — International University of Oil and Gas and Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications.
• Secondary School No. 14 — Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management and State Financial Institute.
• Secondary School No. 15 — Turkmen Agricultural University and International Equine Academy.
• State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan — State Energy Institute.
• Secondary School No. 36 — Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University, and International University of Industry and Entrepreneurship.
• Yolaman Hummiyev Specialized Music School of Mary — Turkmen State Institute of Culture and Turkmen National Conservatory.
• Building of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan in Mary city — Turkmen Agricultural Institute.

Special procedure for Ahal velayat, Ashgabat and Arkadag cities

• Candidates of Ashgabat and Arkadag cities mainly submit documents at the respective higher education institutions.
• For the Turkmen State Institute of Culture, candidates from Ashgabat, Arkadag, and the Ahal velayat submit documents at the institute itself.
• For the International Equine Academy, candidates from Ashgabat and Arkadag cities apply at the academy itself.
• Documents of candidates from Ashgabat and Arkadag cities for the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute are accepted at the Dovletmammed Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages.
• Admission points for candidates of the Ahal velayat are organized in secondary schools No. 45 and No. 46 in the city of Anau.

Working hours

• Acceptance period: July 13–26, 2026.
• Working hours: 08:00–18:00.
• Break: 13:00–14:00.
• Acceptance is also conducted on weekends.

Candidates are advised to prepare a full set of necessary documents before applying and to apply to the relevant admission point on time.
