Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards 2026: Applications open for nominees of the prestigious maritime industry award
The application process has opened for the 4th annual "Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards 2026," which honors the best marinas, boat harbors, and yacht complexes in the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey (the MENAT region). The winners' award ceremony will take place during the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show, scheduled for November 19–22, 2026.
The project is organized by "Abu Dhabi Maritime" (part of the "AD Ports Group") and the Integrated Transport Centre ("Abu Dhabi Mobility"). The main goal of this award is to identify and reward high standards of yacht infrastructure management, innovation, and environmental sustainability.
In 2026, winners will be determined across 12 categories divided into three main groups:
Organizational Categories: Achievements in safety, innovation, ecology, customer service, and working conditions. The main prize — "Outstanding Marina" — is awarded to the complex that has demonstrated the highest results across all areas. Project Categories: Awards for particularly successful initiatives in the fields of ecology, innovative technologies, and staff well-being. Individual Categories: Awards for personal contribution and leadership qualities ("Outstanding Leader," "Service Hero," "Green Star"). Additionally, in October 2026, an open online voting for residents and tourists will open under the special category "Most Popular Marina."
All owners and operators of licensed marinas in the MENAT region can participate in the competition. You can submit an application and register your profile on the official "Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards" website.
