
A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Turkmen business entity "Aýdyň Gijeler" and the Tashkent city administration (hokimiyat) of Uzbekistan. This document provides for the establishment of a new production facility by the Turkmen company on the territory of Uzbekistan.
During the official meeting, the parties discussed issues of developing industrial cooperation and jointly implementing infrastructure projects. A land plot with a total area of 4 hectares has been allocated in Tashkent for the implementation of this project.
The new production center will primarily manufacture products aimed at the neighboring country's major transport and infrastructure projects, including the modern Tashkent–Samarkand highway currently under construction. Specifically, it will produce:
This important project will contribute significantly to further strengthening economic relations between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, creating new jobs, and improving the region's transport infrastructure. In turn, "Aýdyň Gijeler" expressed gratitude to the leadership of Tashkent for their trust and reaffirmed their readiness to continue mutually beneficial cooperation in the future.
