Belavia Airlines Introduced Changes to Additional Baggage Rates
The national airline of the Republic of Belarus, Belavia, has introduced new rates and regulations for booking additional baggage allowance for passengers, effective from June 1, 2026. This was stated in an official report released by the airline's press service.
The new rules have been enhanced to create convenient conditions for passengers who need to transport baggage exceeding the established standard and weight limits.
Passengers can purchase additional baggage allowance in advance through the following channels:
- On the official website of the airline — at the time of purchasing the flight ticket;
- After purchasing the ticket — in the "Booking Status" section of the website;
- At the airline's specialized sales offices as well as official agencies.
Important note: If you wish to book and pay for this service online through the airline's website, you must submit and confirm the relevant application at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time.
The final price of the service varies depending on the selected destination, the time of purchase, and the method of registration (online or at the ticket counter).
As a reminder, Belavia Airlines currently actively provides passenger transport services between Belarus and Turkmenistan. The airline continues to operate regular flights on the Minsk — Turkmenbashi — Minsk route twice a week — on Wednesdays and Sundays.
