An unusual three-wheeled electric vehicle called the «Telufu GT5» has appeared on the Chinese market, attracting attention with its distinctive design. The new model differs from conventional cars in its wheel arrangement and single-seat cabin. Turkmenportal reports this, citing the Russian publication Gazeta.ru.
The «Telufu GT5» electric tricycle has two wheels at the front and a single, larger wheel at the rear. It features two conventional side-opening doors, two exterior lights and a wide windscreen. The cabin is designed to accommodate only the driver.
The electric motor produces 10 horsepower, and the vehicle can reach a top speed of 70 kilometres per hour. Its battery can be charged using a standard household electrical outlet. A full charge takes approximately eight hours.
According to the report, the vehicle is manufactured at a facility in Linyi, Shandong Province, China. The «Telufu GT5» is reported to cost approximately 360,000 Russian rubles in China and Brazil.
Three-wheeled electric vehicles are an alternative form of transport designed for urban travel. Their distinctive construction and electric power system help them establish a unique position in the market.
