
A new historical result has been recorded at the Chinese Grand Prix stage in athletics. 26-year-old athlete Niu Chunge managed to break the Asian record in the women's pole vault.
During the competition, the athlete cleared a height of 4.73 meters, becoming the new record holder. With this result, Niu Chunge surpassed the 4.72-meter record set by her compatriot Li Ling in Shanghai in 2019, establishing a new Asian record.
