Chinese athlete breaks Asian record

A new historical result has been recorded at the Chinese Grand Prix stage in athletics. 26-year-old athlete Niu Chunge managed to break the Asian record in the women's pole vault.

During the competition, the athlete cleared a height of 4.73 meters, becoming the new record holder. With this result, Niu Chunge surpassed the 4.72-meter record set by her compatriot Li Ling in Shanghai in 2019, establishing a new Asian record.

It is worth noting that Niu Chunge is known for her successful performances. In February of this year, she also won the title of Asian Indoor Champion in the women's pole vault.
