The China International Press Communication Center (CIPCC) 2026 international educational program for foreign journalists is continuing in the People’s Republic of China. Organized as part of the “International Information Center” project, the program provides journalists from different countries, including Turkmenistan, with broad opportunities to study modern trends in international journalism and exchange professional experience.
The educational program, which will continue from September to December, not only provides theoretical knowledge but also creates opportunities for journalists to gain practical insight into current trends in the development of international journalism.
The first days of the program were also marked by a rich and informative schedule. On September 7, Li Yunhui, a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, conducted a training session on the topic “China’s National Characteristics and Professional Training of Journalists: China’s Relations, Policies and Practical Cooperation with Relevant Regions.”
On September 8, the official opening ceremony of the program was held. Participants from different countries attended the event in national costumes, making the principles of international friendship and mutual respect one of the main features of the ceremony.
Practical Chinese language lessons for journalists were also organized on September 8 and 10. Particular attention was paid to conversations and expressions needed in everyday life and when using various means of transportation.
On September 9, a training session was held on artificial intelligence technologies, one of the important areas of modern journalism. During the session conducted by Zhao Ping, head of China Central Television (CGTN), the role of new technologies in international communication and their impact on the field of journalism were discussed in detail.
As part of the program, an international event was also held within the framework of the 11th cultural exhibition “Shining World” of the Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS). The event, titled “Harmony between East and West: The Charm of Beijing,” was dedicated to the theme “A Key to Nature.”
During the CIPCC-2026 program, participants have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of China’s economy, culture, social development, digital technologies and international cooperation, as well as exchange experience with journalists from different countries.
