CNPC Announced an Overhaul Tender for the "Bagtyýarlyk" Contract Area

The Turkmenistan Branch of CNPC International Ltd. (China National Petroleum Corporation) has announced the launching of a new tender for the "Bagtyýarlyk" contract area. According to the announcement, the competition will be carried out within the framework of the combined project numbered № CIT-26056-SR.

The purpose of the tender is to clean the equipment and perform major repairs (overhaul) on the industrial wastewater treatment plant located at Production Site B (PD-B) in the eastern part of the "Bagtyýarlyk" contract area. The pre-qualification (pre-selection) stage has commenced for foreign and local companies interested in participating in the project.

Documents Required for Tender Participation:

Companies wishing to participate in the tender must prepare the following package of documents:

Official application letter for participation in the tender (letter of intent).
Brief information about the applicant company and its main fields of activity.
Experience in executing similar works during the last 3 years (with specific examples).
Certificate confirming membership in the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET).

Procedure for Submitting Pre-qualification Documents:

All pre-qualification documents must be prepared in English and Russian. Applications must be bound, paginated, stamped, and submitted in tightly sealed envelopes. Companies must provide 1 original and 1 copy of the documents, as well as a mandatory fully scanned electronic version (on a flash drive or disk). The information of the recipient and the sender, as well as the tender number and name, must be clearly indicated on the outside of the envelope.

Tender applications are accepted within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date the announcement is published in the mass media. Documents received later than the specified deadline will not be accepted for the competition (Tender period: 25.05.2026 – 31.05.2026).
