Consular Section of the Chinese Embassy to Temporarily Close in Early May
The Consular Section of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Turkmenistan has issued a notice to citizens and tourists planning to travel to China. Due to national holidays, the embassy is making temporary changes to its working hours.
According to the diplomatic mission, the acceptance and processing of documents will be suspended during the following period:
- Period: From May 1 to May 5, 2026.
- Reason: Celebration of China's national holidays.
- Impact: During this time, applications for visas, document authentication, and other consular services will not be accepted.
To avoid potential inconvenience, the embassy advises the following:
- Parties planning to submit documents should schedule their tasks before May 1 or starting from May 6.
- As the workload may increase just before the holidays, it is advisable to handle visa matters in advance.
The embassy apologizes in advance for any unexpected difficulties and reminds that official operations will resume in the usual manner starting from May 6, 2026.
