Delegation of Turkmenistan attended the 79th Cannes International Film Festival
A delegation of Turkmenistan attended the 79th Cannes International Film Festival held in France. The main themes of this year's prestigious film competition were artificial intelligence, the creative economy, and the introduction of new technologies in film production.
According to the Embassy of Turkmenistan to the French Republic, during the visit, the representatives of our country participated in the "AI Film Forum" summit held at the Palais des Festivals. Here, they discussed the integration of artificial intelligence into the cinematography system with international experts. Additionally, several meetings were held with the leaders of the world's leading IT companies. During these talks, the future possibilities of utilizing virtual production and neural networks in Turkmen cinema art were reviewed.
Furthermore, the National Center for Cinema of France introduced the Turkmen specialists to an immersive exhibition of technological innovations.
As a result of the meetings, representatives of the largest film industries from the USA and Europe confirmed their great interest in developing the cinematography system of Turkmenistan and expressed their readiness to cooperate closely in the digitalization of film art.
