A delegation of Turkmenistan participated in the international AIM Congress 2026, held on September 7–9 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The delegation of Turkmenistan at the congress was headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the UAE. The delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Industry and Construction, and the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs.

Representatives from 191 countries and international organizations participated in the 15th AIM Congress 2026, held under the theme “Reimagining Global Prosperity: Unlocking New Investment Pathways for a Sustainable and Inclusive Future.” The congress brought together heads of government institutions, representatives of international organizations and leaders of major business groups.

During the event, the delegation of Turkmenistan participated in the opening ceremony and thematic sessions devoted to investment cooperation, economic development and industrial policy. In particular, the delegation took part in a panel discussion on Central Asia organized jointly with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, a ministerial-level roundtable dedicated to investment issues, as well as sessions on free economic zones and industrial policy.

Within the framework of the congress, the delegation of Turkmenistan held bilateral meetings with representatives of financial institutions, companies and organizations specializing in attracting investments. During the meetings, the participants exchanged views on opportunities for developing cooperation between Turkmenistan and its partners.

The delegation of Turkmenistan also visited the exhibition organized as part of the congress.
