Efficiency in Turkmenistan's Oil and Gas Sector: 110 Wells Restored

Specialists from the "Nebitgazdüýpliabatlaýyş" trust of the "Türkmennebit" State Concern achieved high labor performance in the first quarter of 2026. As a result of major overhaul work conducted over the past three months, 110 wells with declining productivity were restored and put back into operation.

The work carried out by the specialists exceeded the established targets. According to the results of the reporting period, the well restoration plan was fulfilled by 105.8 percent.

The re-commissioning of these wells had a direct impact on increasing the country's energy reserves. The amount of additional production obtained since the beginning of the year is as follows:

• Nearly 24,000 tons of additional oil were extracted.
• Approximately 28,000 cubic meters of additional "blue fuel" (natural gas) were produced.

These achievements are the result of the technological modernization of old or low-performing wells. The work performed by the trust is a vital part of the national strategy for the economical and efficient use of oil and gas resources.
