
A new success has been recorded in Turkmenistan's agriculture: Alcha grown in the country is being exported to CIS countries for the first time.
Employees of a large horticultural complex located at the foothills of the Kopetdag mountains have overcome the challenges of maintaining alcha orchards and have succeeded in bringing production to an export level. Local farmers note that the hot climate positively affects the sweetness of the fruit and effectively utilize these natural advantages.
