
As part of the ongoing "RES 2026" Regional Environmental Summit in Astana, a ministerial roundtable was held with the participation of the heads of environmental protection agencies from Central Asian countries. During this meeting, the Minister of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, Ovezgeldi Goshjanov, presented the country's new proposals for combating climate change and attracting investments to this field.
The core focus of the meeting was the coordination of political agreement on climate issues in Central Asia and the direction of financial resources toward this goal. Participants discussed ways to transform international commitments into concrete investment programs.

The representative of Turkmenistan confirmed the country's readiness for active cooperation in promoting specific climate investments.
