An unusual and significant esports event that quickly gained popularity on social media took place in Turkmenistan. Organized by the capital's "LevelUp" cyber club and the Turkmenistan National Electronic Sports Federation (TMESF), gamers held a friendly "Counter-Strike 2" tournament right in the middle of the Karakum Desert under unique extreme conditions. A video report prepared from the event immediately caught the attention of internet users due to its impressive atmosphere.
The gaming area was set up directly on top of sand dunes. To protect the equipment from sand and create comfortable conditions for the players, the organizers laid Turkmen carpets over the dunes and set up modern gaming stations. One of the biggest technical challenges in this project was organizing autonomous power supply in the lap of nature. However, a powerful generator successfully handled this task, ensuring the stable operation of computers and network equipment.
The games, held in a friendly format, brought together fans of virtual competitions. Participants noted that this event gave them unforgettable and new emotions, perfectly combining fierce battles on a digital map with enjoying the desert nature, fresh air, and the stunning Karakum sunset.
It is worth noting that holding extreme gaming sessions is already becoming a unique tradition for the "LevelUp" club. Previously, the team organized a gaming evening in front of the famous "Darvaza" gas crater, known as the "Glow of Karakum." Such creative initiatives not only contribute to the development of esports in our country, but also help showcase Turkmenistan's unique tourism potential to the world from an innovative perspective.
