An important agreement aimed at taking high-tech cooperation to a new level was signed in Seoul between companies from Turkmenistan and South Korea. According to the document, the «Amatly çözgüt» business entity and the South Korean company «S&T System Inc.» will establish a joint venture named «Ýerli Tor».

The main goal of the new enterprise will be to build a national manufacturing base for the production of modern IT equipment in Turkmenistan. As part of the project, it is planned to supply government agencies, large companies, data processing centers, and critical infrastructure facilities with locally produced servers, data storage systems, and modern network equipment.

The responsibilities of the parties within the framework of cooperation have also been defined. South Korean partners will ensure the transfer of advanced technologies to Turkmenistan, provide relevant technical solutions, and offer expert support. The Turkmen side will carry out work on adapting products to local requirements, creating the necessary manufacturing infrastructure, and introducing new technologies to the domestic market.

Production at the joint venture will not be limited to assembling and configuring equipment; it will also include stages such as quality control, technical testing, integrating software with hardware, and establishing warranty and maintenance services.

In future stages of the project, it is planned to increase the share of local production, train highly qualified national engineers, and introduce innovative technologies into manufacturing.

The establishment of the «Ýerli Tor» joint venture will be one of the initiatives aimed at expanding Turkmenistan's domestic capabilities in IT equipment manufacturing, modernizing its digital infrastructure, and developing international cooperation in the technological sector.
