Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov elected as Academician of the Academy of Sciences

In accordance with the decision of the General Meeting of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, taking into account his efforts in improving the socio-economic well-being of the people of Turkmenistan, developing science and education sectors, bringing the national healthcare system in line with global standards, implementing advanced technologies into the economy and production, and nurturing a new generation of educated youth, as well as strengthening the position of our independent, permanently neutral Motherland among the economically rapidly developing countries of the world and further consolidating the policy of peace and friendship in the world, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Gurbangulyýewiç Berdimuhamedow has been elected as an Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan in the fields of economics and political science.
