⛏️ Turkmenistan expands international cooperation in rare mineral exploration Turkmenistan is strengthening international cooperation in the exploration of rare minerals and the efficient use of its underground resources. The country plans to work with leading foreign companies and apply advanced geological exploration practices.
During a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held via the digital system under the chairmanship of esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, special attention was paid to issues of more efficient use of the country's underground wealth and the development of international cooperation in this area.
During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet_Ministers G. Agajanow reported on the work being carried out by the "Turkmengeology" State Corporation. As noted, large-scale measures are being implemented to rationally use the country's rich natural resources, including organizing prospecting and exploration work for rare minerals in accordance with advanced global practices. In this direction, relevant work is underway to establish effective cooperation with authoritative and highly qualified foreign companies.
Having listened to the report, the esteemed President noted that programmatic work to discover underground resources and manage them efficiently in the interests of the economy is consistently continuing in the country. The Head of State supported the proposal to intensify international cooperation in the search for underground resources and instructed the Vice-Premier to take necessary and effective measures in this regard.
