The summer vacation season for schoolchildren in Turkmenistan has begun with great joy, excitement, and celebrations. In ceremonies organized in our capital Ashgabat and provincial centers, thousands of children were solemnly sent off to health and recreation centers located in beautiful natural spots.
The main celebration organized at the square in front of the "Mekan" Palace in the capital was combined with musical performances, after which the students departed in decorated buses toward Gökdere, a beautiful valley of the Kopetdag mountains. According to a special plan prepared by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, various excursions, sports competitions, and creative contests will be organized for children during the vacation period. Modern playgrounds, computer rooms, handicraft clubs, and rich libraries will serve to ensure that children spend their time productively at the centers.
The first days of the summer season were welcomed with a high level of organization in all regions of the country:
- Ahal Province: Following celebrations in the city of Änew and Kaka district, schoolchildren were sent to the "Bagtyýar nesiller" center in Gökdere, the "Ýaşyl ýaýla" center in Kaka district, and the "Ahal" health center on the Caspian shore. In each shift, 300 children will rest across the province.
- Balkan Province: A total of 2,080 children will rest in the first shift of the season. Out of these, 1,380 were welcomed at modern centers in the "Awaza" National Tourist Zone, while the remaining part was received at the "Dürdäne" and "Gara altyn" children's health and recreation centers in the city of Gyzylarbat.
- Daşoguz Province: A total of 900 children will rest in 3 shifts at the region's "Bagtyýar nesil" children's health and recreation center. Additionally, 50 students from the northern region received vouchers to the "Daşoguz" center in Awaza and centers in Gökdere.
- Lebap Province: The youth were sent to the "Daýanç" and "Lebap" centers in Awaza as well as the Gökdere valley. Furthermore, 900 children will be received throughout the season at the "Bagtyýarlyk" children's health and recreation center located on the banks of the Amu Darya river. Here, doctors will regularly monitor the healthy nutrition of the children.
- Mary Province: Students will spend their vacation in 3 shifts at the province's "Arkadagyň bagtyýar nesilleri", "Mary" in Awaza, and "Beýik Serdar nesilleri" centers in Gökdere. While the season continues steadily, excursions to historical-cultural museums and ancient monuments will be organized for the children.
In our country, all comfortable conditions and modern opportunities have been fully created at the state level for the younger generation to spend their summer vacation season at a high level, interestingly, and healthily.
