Restaurants specializing in Korean cuisine are expected to open in Turkmenistan. This is stipulated in one of the cooperation documents signed between the business circles of the two countries within the framework of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, to the Republic of Korea.

Specifically, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the «Kämil market» business entity of Turkmenistan and the «CANA Catering» company of the Republic of Korea.

The document was signed by Mergen Begençew, Director of «Kämil market», and Le Chong Won, Director of «CANA Catering».

According to the agreement, the cooperation is expected to implement projects for opening restaurants serving Korean cuisine in Turkmenistan. This new initiative will not only provide an opportunity to introduce Korean national dishes more widely among Turkmenistan's citizens, but will also create conditions for developing business relations between representatives of the private sector of the two countries.

The implementation of the project could contribute to the emergence of new directions of international culinary culture in Turkmenistan and the expansion of Korean business engagement in the Turkmen market.
