Young Turkmen judoka Maysa Pardayeva has become one of the athletes enhancing the country’s sporting reputation through her achievements on the international stage. Born in Koytendag city of Lebap Region, she is currently recognized among the world’s strongest judokas in the up to 57 kg weight category.

Maysa Pardayeva was born on 14 February 2005. At the beginning of her sporting career, her first coaches — Jora Matnazarov and international-level judoka Gulbadam Babamuradova — played an important role. Under their guidance, the young athlete took her first steps toward major achievements.

In 2023, Maysa had the honor of carrying the State Flag of Turkmenistan during the opening ceremony of the Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China. At the same competition, she won a bronze medal, attracting the attention of the international sports community.

In recent years, she has successfully competed at youth tournaments in Asia and Europe and achieved prize-winning results at the Antalya Grand Slam competition. She also participated in the 2024 Olympic Games, gaining valuable international experience.

The year 2026 became one of the most important years in Maysa Pardayeva’s sporting career. First, she won a bronze medal at the Ulaanbaatar Grand Slam tournament. Later, at the Qingdao Grand Prix in China, she defeated all opponents and claimed the gold medal. This achievement was recorded as one of the significant results in the history of Turkmen judo.

These victories helped Maysa Pardayeva earn important ranking points on her path toward qualification for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
