Large-scale equestrian sports events dedicated to Akhal-Teke horses have commenced in the town of Kronenberg, Kingdom of the Netherlands. As part of these events, an international beauty contest was held among Akhal-Teke horses of various ages.
The contest is organized jointly by the "Türkmen atlary" State Association and the European Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Association at the "Pilbergen" equestrian sports complex.
In the opening stages of the international beauty contest, Akhal-Teke horses aged one to four years were presented before a panel of expert judges. The competing horses were evaluated based on their physique harmony, appearance, conformation, and traditional horse ornaments.
The judges summarized the results of the initial stages and began identifying the standout horses across various age groups.
In the competition among two-year-old Akhal-Teke horses, Meledag, distinguished by his graceful conformation, earned the title of champion.
This international competition held in the Netherlands has become one of the key events in widely promoting the beauty, uniqueness, and national breeding traditions of Akhal-Teke horses across the European space.
