Turkmenistan’s national mobile operator "Altyn Asyr" has introduced a new 72 telephone code into its network due to the steady increase in the number of subscribers and the growing demand for communication services among the country’s population.
New telephone numbers will now be registered in the international format as +993 72 xxxxxx. This measure is an important planned step by the company to modernize its communication infrastructure and increase the availability of advanced digital services for citizens.
Availability of numbers
New numbers with the 72 prefix are already on sale. Residents can purchase them and connect to the network at the operator’s official offices and service points in all regions of the country according to the company’s standard tariffs.
