By the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, on the occasion of the Turkmen Carpet Day and for great services rendered in developing the national carpet-weaving art of our country, as well as spreading the unmatched beauty and refinement of Turkmen carpets to the world, a number of skilled women weavers were awarded the honorary title "Honorary Carpet Weaver of Turkmenistan."

Taking into account their honest labor over many years and professional excellence in carefully preserving our national values and passing them on to future generations, the following citizens were found worthy of this high state award:

  • Arazbibi Garlyýewa — carpet weaver of the Bereket artistic carpet enterprise of the "Türkmenhaly" state association;
  • Aýgül Rejepowna Kakyşewa — carpet weaver of the Gyzylarbat artistic carpet enterprise of the "Türkmenhaly" state association;
  • Maýsa Gurbansähedowna Nurberdiýewa — carpet weaver of the Gyzylarbat artistic carpet enterprise of the "Türkmenhaly" state association;
  • Kurbanaý Genjaýewa — carpet weaver of the Daşoguz carpet workshop of the Daşoguz artistic carpet enterprise of the "Türkmenhaly" state association;
  • Arazgül Bazarbaýewna Agaýewa — carpet weaver of the Gubadag carpet workshop of the Daşoguz artistic carpet enterprise of the "Türkmenhaly" state association;
  • Gülistan Toýlybaýewna Gurbanbaýewa — supervisor master of the Boldumsaz workshop of the Daşoguz artistic carpet enterprise of the "Türkmenhaly" state association;
  • Sülgün Agageldiýewna Penjiýewa — carpet weaver of the Halaç artistic carpet enterprise of the "Türkmenhaly" state association;
  • Bahar Haýytdurdyýewna Jumaýewa — carpet weaver of the Halaç artistic carpet enterprise of the "Türkmenhaly" state association;
  • Jennet Jumadurdyýewna Jumageldiýewa — carpet weaver of the souvenir workshop of the Halaç artistic carpet enterprise of the "Türkmenhaly" state association;
  • Altyn Musagulyýewna Algulyýewa — carpet weaver of the 3rd workshop of the Halaç artistic carpet enterprise of the "Türkmenhaly" state association;
  • Aýnabat Baýgeldiýewna Abraýewa — carpet weaver of the 3rd workshop of the Halaç artistic carpet enterprise of the "Türkmenhaly" state association;
  • Tawus Haýydowa — carpet weaver of the "Güneşlik" workshop of the Halaç artistic carpet enterprise of the "Türkmenhaly" state association;
  • Orazgözel Muhammetdurdyýewna Pälwanowa — supervisor master of the Mary carpet workshop of the Mary artistic carpet enterprise of the "Türkmenhaly" state association;
  • Rabiýa Şerniýazowna Babaniýazowa — carpet weaver of the consumer goods department of the Türkmenabat Silk Production Association of the "Türkmenpagta" state concern.

The ancient carpet-weaving art of our people is an unparalleled contribution added to the treasury of universal human culture, and the dedicated hard work of our talented women and master carpet experts continues to receive great support and high respect from our state year after year.
