President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has signed a number of Resolutions aimed at further advancing the socio-economic development of the country, strengthening international cooperation, and improving the scientific system.

International Economic Cooperation

In order to implement the Agreement on economic cooperation between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Slovak Republic, the Turkmen part of the Turkmen-Slovak joint group on economic cooperation has been established and its composition approved. This step will contribute to the further development of mutually beneficial relations between the two countries.

Technical Support for the Oil and Gas Sector

In order to successfully fulfill the tasks assigned to the sector, the Head of State signed relevant Resolutions. According to the documents:

  • State Concern "Türkmengaz" is authorized to conclude a contract with the Chinese company "Julong Steel Pipe Co., Ltd." for the purchase of steel pipes required for construction work.
  • State Concern "Türkmennebit" is authorized to conclude a contract with the Chinese company "Wuxi SP. Steel Tube Manufacturing Co., Ltd." for the purchase of casing and drill pipes required for well drilling operations.

Development of the Science System

In order to strengthen the role of science in society, attract youth to research activities, and promote technologies, the "State Program for the Promotion of Scientific, Technical and Technological Achievements in Turkmenistan for 2026–2030" and a plan of measures for its implementation were approved. Coordination of work in this area was entrusted to the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and relevant ministries.

Tenders in the Transport and Communication Complex

In accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan "On tenders for the supply of goods, performance of work, and provision of services for state needs," the procedure for conducting tenders for goods, work, and services for the needs of agencies belonging to the transport and communication complex has been approved.
