Ashgabat hosted a two-day regional seminar titled «C5+1: Trusted Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization», dedicated to issues of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digitalization, with the participation of representatives from Central Asian countries and the United States.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the event was attended by representatives of relevant government agencies from Central Asian states and the USA, specialists from international companies, and experts in the high-tech sector. The seminar was held with the support of the U.S. Department of Commerce's Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP).

The main purpose of the seminar was to discuss issues related to creating a secure and resilient information and communication infrastructure. Participants discussed the protection of critical information systems, radio frequency spectrum management, the development of satellite communications, and international standards for designing and operating modern data centers (Data Centers).

Special sessions focused on developing common approaches to introducing artificial intelligence technologies and ensuring comprehensive cybersecurity.

The representatives also exchanged experiences in regulating digital markets, discussed international mechanisms for financing technological projects, and identified priorities for long-term regional cooperation within the «C5+1» format.
