Regional Duzzum Competition Held in Turkmenabat

Interest in national games and intellectual sports is steadily increasing in the sporting life of Lebap province. A recent testament to this is the duzzum competition for teenagers held at Secondary School No. 9 in the city of Turkmenabat.

According to information provided by Kamiljan Jumaniyazov, a coach at Sports School No. 13 in Turkmenabat, young athletes from the city of Turkmenabat and the Sayat district competed in the event. The individual competitions were filled with intense and exciting moments.

Winners Among Boys: In the boys' competition, Amir Ovezov, an athlete from Turkmenabat Sports School No. 13, won first place. Representatives of the Sayat district, Oraz Hemrayev and Ikram Zaripjanov, took second and third places, respectively.

Winners Among Girls: Athletes from Turkmenabat achieved great success in the girls' competition. Dilnaza Jumaniyazova took first place, and Selbi Masharipova took second. The third place was awarded to Nurana Kakajanova from the Sayat district.

This sporting event was an important step in promoting national games among the youth, developing their thinking skills, and strengthening sports relations between the regions.
