In the first six months of the year, the Seydi Oil Refinery, operating under the "Türkmennebit" State Concern in Lebap province, produced 12,700 tons of road bitumen, achieving a 2.4% year-on-year growth (an increase of 300 tons), as reported by the Nebit-Gaz newspaper. This sustainable output underscores the facility's key role in supplying essential materials for Turkmenistan's expanding road transport infrastructure.

Bitumen serves as a vital binder in asphalt-concrete mixtures, directly influencing road durability, load tolerance, and weather resistance. The Seydi refinery's specialized bitumen production unit holds a design capacity of 37,200 tons per year. Beyond bitumen and vacuum gasoil, the refinery continues to produce high-demand petroleum products, including A-80, A-92, and A-95 gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, extraction gasoline, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
