The event brought together representatives of diplomatic missions, business communities, artists, and connoisseurs of fine arts.
On stage, the orchestra under the leadership of honored artist and composer of Turkmenistan, Röwşen Nepesow, performed alongside Turkmenistan’s People’s Artist and singer Atajan Berdiýew. The concert featured classical, national, and contemporary musical works.
Under the direction of conductor Eziz Jumanyýazov, the music of Russian composer Georgy Sviridov for Pushkin’s “The Blizzard” (“Метель”) was performed. The program also included works by famous Turkmen composers Nury Halmämmedov and Aman Agajykow, highlighting Turkmenistan’s rich musical heritage.
Performances were also given by singers Aýna Baýramgeldiýewa and Milada Nurlyýewa. The audience enjoyed pieces by Italian composers Giulio Caccini and Ludovico Einaudi, Dmitry Shostakovich (Russia), and Hans Zimmer (Germany), along with symphonic versions of contemporary compositions, including Adele’s “Skyfall” and the music from the movie “Interstellar.”
The concert was enhanced with visual elements showcasing the precision and elegance of jewelry art, leaving an unforgettable impression on the audience.
“This evening became a dialogue between jewelry craftsmanship and classical music, as well as the art perfected over time,” noted Yhlas Mämmedow, director of the “SOKOLOV” premium franchise store in Ashgabat. “Music has a unique ability to unite people. It was significant to see representatives of different communities brought together by a shared love of culture,” he added.
The concert became one of the key cultural events of the week in the Turkmen capital, demonstrating Ashgabat’s role as a space for dialogue between national traditions and global artistic experience.
