The 91st International Motor Show took place in Paris, the capital of France, from October 12 to 19. Bringing together manufacturers and industry representatives from around the world, the event attracted more than 100 participants from Europe, America and Asia, as well as over 60 automotive manufacturers.

China’s automotive industry had a prominent presence at the exhibition. A total of 25 brands representing 16 Chinese manufacturers showcased their products, highlighting Chinese companies’ growing interest in expanding their presence in the European market. This figure was approximately twice as high as at previous editions of the show.

The week-long event focused on electric vehicles, hybrid models, intelligent control systems and emerging technologies. Chinese brands such as BYD, Xpeng, Changan, Dongfeng and Leapmotor presented their products, placing particular emphasis on affordable prices, modern technical features and fast-charging solutions.

The exhibition also reflected intensifying technological competition and market rivalry among automotive manufacturers. As interest in electric vehicles continues to grow, manufacturers are working to improve vehicle energy efficiency, reduce charging times and enhance driving systems.

For European buyers, important considerations when choosing a vehicle include its price, battery capacity, the availability of maintenance services and repair costs. As a result, the new models on display attracted attention not only for their design and technology but also for their practicality in everyday use.

The International Motor Show in Paris highlighted current trends in the global automotive industry while providing manufacturers with opportunities to find new partners and expand their prospects in international markets.
