A meeting dedicated to the motto of 2026, the 35th anniversary of the country's Independence, and the presentation of the new book by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, "Neutrality of Turkmenistan — A Bright Path of Peace and Trust," was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Russia. The solemn event turned into a high-level exchange of ideas about the Akhal-Teke horse, the pride of our people.
If diplomacy is the art of building bridges of trust, the Akhal-Teke horse is Turkmenistan's most brilliant ambassador. In Moscow, this was confirmed not only by diplomats but also by people who have dedicated their lives to "winged horses."
Guests listened to speeches by experts with great authority in the equestrian world. Among them was Yulia Kuznetsova, editor-in-chief of the "Akhal-Teke Inform" analytical journal. Her speech reminded everyone that the art of horse breeding, like great architectural monuments, should be considered a part of the UNESCO World Heritage.
Among the invited speakers was Nadezhda Abramova, the chief registrar of the State Studbook. She is a specialist who maintains lineage data connecting the Turkmen deserts with Russian stud farms.
Polina Lazdyn spoke as a representative of the new generation. She is an equestrian athlete, horse owner, and co-founder of the "MediaKon" entertainment project. Her participation added the spirit of modern sports and media to the evening, showing that the Akhal-Teke horse is a unique brand that generates interest among the youth as well.
The cultural part of the meeting became a bridge between tradition and modernity. Turkmen students studying at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation presented a composition based on the poem "Rowaç" by the National Leader of the people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. When the future financiers read poems about the legendary horse, they showed that for Turkmen youth in Moscow, loyalty to their roots is as vital a part of their identity as higher education.
Ambassador Esen Aýdogdyýew, during the presentation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's new work "Neutrality of Turkmenistan — A Bright Path of Peace and Trust," emphasized an important point: there is more than just a symbolic connection between neutrality and the "winged horses." They are two main pillars of stability — one legal-political and the other cultural-spiritual.
The exhibition organized at the Embassy combined impressive photographs from Turkmenistan and Russia, demonstrating the limitless beauty of the Akhal-Teke horse. The meeting concluded with the famous song "Meleguş," considered the unofficial anthem of those in love with these magnificent horses.
