
The US, Mexico, and Canada have announced coordinated public health measures for individuals arriving from African regions with the highest risk of Ebola infection. As noted in the joint statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada, these coordinated measures are aimed at protecting the citizens of the country, as well as millions of fans, athletes, and tourists who will come to the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026.
These three North American states specifically emphasized that the introduced measures will not create obstacles to cross-border travel and trade relations.
