New regulations approved by the Turkish Ministry of Trade officially entered into force on August 1, 2026.

Under the updated rules, advertising is now strictly prohibited for:

  • Tarot readers

  • Astrologers

  • Fortune tellers

  • Mediums

  • Similar esoteric and mystical service providers

Additionally, authorities have expanded existing restrictions on advertisements related to gambling, betting, and lotteries. These new measures are aimed at strengthening consumer protection and actively combating misleading and deceptive advertising practices.
