A Turkmen-Tajik bilateral meeting was held at the Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan. The meeting was chaired by Sylap Nurberdiyev, Deputy Minister of the Ministry, on the Turkmen side, and Karimzoda Rajabmurod, Deputy Head of the State Enterprise "Tajik Railways", on the Tajik side.

Main Directions of Cooperation

During the meeting, the parties discussed the following important issues:

  • Bilateral Relations: Priority areas for further strengthening multifaceted cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan were reviewed.

  • Cargo Turnover: Practical steps to increase trade turnover and cargo transportation volumes were considered.

  • Pricing Policy: Views were exchanged on forming a sustainable pricing policy in the logistics and transport sector.

At the end of the meeting, the head of the Tajik delegation expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for the warm welcome extended.
