Turkmenistan is participating in the two-day B5+1 format business forum, which began on February 4, 2026, in Bishkek. The event brings together representatives of the five Central Asian countries — Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan — along with the United States to discuss regional economic cooperation. This was reported by the “24.kg” publication.
The forum is attended by high-level representatives of the governments of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and the United States, heads of business associations, representatives of international companies, financial institutions, and members of the expert community.
The two-day forum is organized by the Center for International Private Enterprise in cooperation with the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and is evolving from a one-time event into a long-term multilateral process aimed at strengthening dialogue between the public and private sectors.
During the forum, participants will discuss improving the business and investment climate, developing agriculture, tourism, the financial and banking system, transport, e-commerce, and the IT sector, as well as cooperation in the field of critical mineral resources. The agenda includes panel discussions and open dialogue sessions, during which the heads of the B5+1 working groups will present an updated regional business agenda.
B5+1 is the business dimension of the C5+1 diplomatic platform. This platform enables business communities and government institutions of Central Asian countries and the United States to work together to promote investment, innovation, and economic development in the region.
