US Under Secretary of State Sara Rogers to visit Turkmenistan
The United States Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs, Sara B. Rogers, will pay an official visit to Turkmenistan. This was reported by international news sources, citing official data from the US Department of State.
The high-level diplomat's regional visit will take place between May 27 and June 10, and it will be part of a wide-ranging diplomatic policy to be implemented in South and Central Asian countries. According to official information, within the framework of this trip, Sara Rogers will visit India, Nepal, and Uzbekistan along with Turkmenistan.
This diplomatic mission carries a special significance. Furthermore, this trip will be Sara Rogers' first official visit to the Central Asian region since she assumed her office.
Sara B. Rogers leads the US Department of State's strategic efforts to strengthen international cooperation, in particular, engagement with foreign audiences and public organizations.
She also directly oversees the following areas:
- Developing international educational and cultural exchange programs;
