
Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov of England's Manchester City has become Asia's most valuable football player, according to the new market valuations published by the Transfermarkt portal on June 3.
According to this source, the Uzbek player's value has reached 50 million euros. Over the last six months, his market value increased by 15 million euros.
It is noted that Khusanov has been playing for Manchester City since January 2025. He previously played for France's Lens, from where he transferred to the English side. The player's contract with Manchester City is set until the summer of 2029.
In the ranking of Asia's most expensive football players, the second place is held by Japanese player Kaishu Sano, who plays for Germany's Mainz 05 (valued at 40 million euros).
In third place is Japanese midfielder Takefusa Kubo, representing Spain's Real Sociedad, whose value stands at 30 million euros.
