As previously reported, today the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, undertook a working visit to the Kyrgyz Republic to participate in the informal consultative meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan. At the Congress Center, the President of Turkmenistan was warmly welcomed by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov. Afterwards, an informal consultative meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan took place.

In his speech, Sadyr Japarov noted that Turkmenistan is chairing this year's consultative meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, highly praised this, and expressed gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for the invitation to the consultative meeting to be held in Avaza. Also during the summit, Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took the opportunity to express gratitude to the Head of State for Turkmenistan's accession to the Treaty on Friendship, Good-Neighborliness, and Cooperation for the Development of Central Asia in the 21st Century.

Speaking at the summit, the President of Turkmenistan expressed firm confidence that the new six-party mechanism of interstate cooperation will serve to bring the peoples and countries even closer together, strengthen fraternal relations, and give additional impetus to cooperation through the utilization of joint opportunities.

Following the informal consultative meeting, the Presidents signed the Cholpon-Ata Declaration.

Additionally, during the visit, the President of Turkmenistan attended the opening ceremony of the "Baku" hotel located on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul.

As reported in the "Watan" news broadcast, upon the completion of the working visit program to the Kyrgyz Republic, the President of Turkmenistan departed for Turkmenistan from the Issyk-Kul International Airport. After some time, the President of Turkmenistan arrived at the Ashgabat International Airport, where the Head of State was welcomed by official figures of the country.
